Technology Area: Applied Mycology, development of myco-herbicides

The development of pathogenic fungi as biological control agents against various invasive alien weed species. When the biocontrol community is satisfied that the pathogenic fungus is host-specific and is able to inflict a measurable impact on the target weed  then we apply for a biocontrol agent release permit. The release application is sent to experts for their opinion on the efficacy and host-specificity data provided. Permit will be release after consensus.
